When the majority of buyers are international – the survey estimated 84% of purchases were made by overseas buyers – they want to feel secure both when they’re on their property and when it’s empty.
European Tour Properties conducted research on a sample of 9 golf resorts and completed sales of 500 plots and homes in 2017. The purpose was to evaluate the prices and their resilience to help buyers and developers make informed investments. What they found was this astonishing price premium generated by these properties.
