Costa del Sol

The Costa del Sol situated in the southern part of Spain and Marbella, 50 km from Málaga is without any doubt the jewel of the coast. The mountain ridge of Sierra Blanca protects the coast from the cold winds coming from the North in the winter and from the heat of inland Spain in the summer. The Costa del Sol retains mild temperatures all year round.

We are blessed with nearly perfect weather and the best climate in Europe, but also with a rich cultural environment. The cultural cities of Granada, Seville and Cordoba are all within convenient travelling distance of Marbella. A shopping trip to Gibraltar or a day-trip to Africa (with fast ferries from Algeciras and Tarifa taking 35 minutes) is also easily done. The existence of so many beautiful beaches and golf courses is well known, but not the fact that we also have excellent ski slopes! "Sol y Nieve" in the Sierra Nevada is a world-class downhill ski resort.

But “a picture is worth a thousand words”, so take a look at the photographs from Marbella and its surroundings below. We have also added some extra photos from the most common destination of excursions.
